I swear it’s like Christmas when I come home to a million and one packages sitting on my doorstep. I’ll admit I went a little crazy and probably spent too much on makeup, but recently there have been so many new products I’ve been wanting to try and I decided to bite the bullet and buy them while I could. These are my favorites of my recent purchases. Needless to say, I think I died and went to Heaven…
These brushes have made a world of difference when it comes to applying, setting, and blending my makeup. I use these for my under eye setting, my blush, my bronzer/contour, my highlighter, and my pressed powder. (How cute are the mini brushes??) These are called Jessup Brushes and were uber cheap compared to the quality of the brushes. They are some of my favorite brushes and altogether I only spent $16. Yup. Take that Sephora.
I am so happy I got my hands on the new Mac Fix Plus setting spray. This stuff works like magic! These sold out so quickly I couldn’t believe I was able to purchase it in time. I originally wanted the coconut scented one but the only one left in stock at the time was the cucumber. I am very happy with the one I purchased because it DOES smell amazing, but omg, I would die to have coconut. I also purchased the travel size of the Tatcha luminous dewy mist spray. I have used this for a couple weeks now and it is the bomb.com. Need I mention this is what Kim Kardashian uses?
My favorite (non-waterproof) mascara is Dior’s Diorshow mascara. This stuff makes my eyelashes appear to be longer and fuller without making them clumpy. One of my biggest pet peevs is clumpy mascara. I will not purchase a mascara if the applicator looks a certain way because I know how I like to apply mine. The formula itself is also amazing because it lasts hours without having to be re-applied. I am also loving the MAC lipliner in the color “Boldly Bare” because it matches my lip color really well and it is a gorgeous pale pink. The two lipsticks I purchased were the cremesheen “Dare You” and “Shanghai Spice”.

Your girl can’t live without her beauty blender.
One of my new favorite highlighters is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the color Champagne Pop. This has a gorgeous peachy undertone which is one of my favorite summer colors. This highlighter was made for lighter skin tones but also looks great on darker skin colors to help make more dramatic looks. Below it is the Becca highlighter in the color Opal. I also am loving the Nars blush in the shade “Deep Throat”. One of my new favorite highlighters is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the color Champagne Pop.
