Monthly Favorites

Info

Hello lovelies! It’s time for a monthly favorites and last month I had a lot. I have not done one of these in such a long time and I’m happy to share what I have for you! Like I said, I have accumulated a lot of these over the course of late January, up until this month. With that being said, I hope you enjoy!

Beauty:

Yves Saint Laurent TOUCHE ÉCLAT LE TEINT Radiance Awakening Foundation

Despite all of the mixed reviews over the new formula, I am still in love with YSL foundation. It is absolutely beautiful with my olive skin tone and leaves my face bright and dewy. Of course, if you are looking for a matte finish, you can apply pressed powder or a translucent powder, but I am into the whole ‘dewy’ look at the moment so it is perfect for me! I am pretty light for myself during this time of year, so I usually apply BD40. However, in the summer I wear BD50 (which is not a lot because I tend to only wear a BB cream and strobing cream). Although this foundation is a bit pricy, it is totally worth it in my opinion. I don’t go too heavy with my foundation so it lasts a lot longer for me. It is also very build-able and has great coverage. This is hands-down my favorite foundation!

Urban Decay Naked Concealer

This concealer is so perfect in many ways. Not only is is the perfect creaminess and consistency but it also matches my skin tone so well. As with every concealer, I purchased the shade lighter than what I use for foundation. My current shade is Light Neutral. I am very light for myself right now so this shade is great. However, when the summer rolls around I will probably buy Medium Light Neutral. This and NYX’s brand are my top favorite concealers I’ve tried and they are both amazing in my opinion. I was so happy that I gave in and tried a new concealer because I am not lying when I say this formula is amazing. It has great coverage and you won’t regret buying it!

John Masters 100% Argan Oil

Argan oil has slowly made its way into my daily skin routine and I honestly can’t go a day without it! This and coconut oil has changed my life and made my skin and hair so soft. Any 100% argan oil will do the trick if you are looking for hydration. My advice: don’t over-pay. Although it is a bit of an expense, a lot of stores try to up charge you for the oil so be sure to check around before you buy some! You can’t go wrong with the naturals.

Morphe 35O Palette

You guys know how much I rant and rave about Morphe’s products. I have yet to find better eye shadows for the price that they give. Their products are incomparable. I recently got my hands on the 35O palette, despite it continually being sold out. The colors are so amazing and very pigmented. GO MORPHE!! (sold out online)

Clothing:

Lululemon Speed Tight

If I could spend my entire paycheck on Lululemon clothing without being judged, I totally would. Their clothing is my absolute favorite to workout in because of how great the quality it. These tights are no exception. Ladies: they make your butt look big, and they slim your legs. They look good on every figure! These are my favorite leggings I have ever owned and I have yet to be disappointed. I have tried Nike, Under Armour and Adidas and every single pair of running leggings I have own from them have never lasted more than a couple wears without getting holes in them. Not only that, but other leggings don’t truly fit to my body the way that my Lulu’s do. I know its a bit of an investment, but trust me, it’s worth it!

Air Max Thea

As much as I wish I could have gotten my hands on the nude pair (iron storm), I do love my theas and they fit so well. These are my go-to pair of shoes when I am running errands and I always get compliments on them. They fit true to size and are honestly very comfortable.
