The Best Foundations For Any Budget

Lifestyle

I will never understand how fast time flies because when did it turn May?? (Sighs). Butttt, I have racked up some of my most coveted foundations for you all that I use on the daily. I have used all of these for a long time now and have repurchased many of them multiple times over. They range from $12-$70 so I definitely use the more expensive ones for special occasions. My skin tends to be combination and as you all know I love dewy looking skin. Obviously, some of these may not work perfectly for your skin type and color, but trial and error are essential to finding your perfect shade!

High End:

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation:

All of the Kardashians swear by this foundation, so need I say more? This is my #1 FAVORITE foundation I have ever used. I swear by it. It’s the perfect combination of full coverage and weightless. It applies like butter and covers even the slightest discoloration. There are also so many shades available, so there is a good chance you will find your perfect shade. They also come with travel sized versions of this foundation. If you don’t want to pay the $62 for the 1 oz you can invest in the 0.6 oz first. The smell isn’t bad (I honestly don’t mind it) but if you are very sensitive to smells, then I advise you to try it on in the store before you buy it. It is obviously on the more expensive side but, in my opinion, it is worth every penny!

Yves Saint Laurent TOUCHE ECLAT LE TEINT Radiance Awakening Foundation SPF 22:

This is a great foundation that is created with Vitamin E and SPF 22 to help fight the look of fatigue while leaving your skin looking radiant. This is awesome when you prime your face with the Radiance primer or, my favorite, the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in opal. Priming your face with a hydrating, shimmer primer will make your face glow and help the foundation to stay on longer. I have olive skin so BD50 is perfect for me when I have a slight tan. This foundation does have a slight smell but I love it! This sales for $58 and still is one of my top favorite foundations.

Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation:

This is hands-down the BEST full coverage foundation. My biggest advice when using this: a little goes a LONGGG way. This definitely will crease if you put too much on, so make sure you set your face with a powder if you are going out and you want a flawless complexion. The main difference between this foundation and the Kat Von D one is that this one isn’t as cakey. I honestly fell in love with it the first time I used it because I heard so many great reviews about it. It also does not have a smell! This is definitely a keeper.

Low End:

L ‘Oreal True Match Lumi:

You literally can’t beat this foundation for drug store quality. It is the best $12.99 you will spend if you are on a budget. This foundation competes with the high end versions and has the best consistency. In my opinion, it is way better than the Makeup Forever HD foundation. I love using this in the summer when I am looking for a medium coverage foundation for a simple makeup look. If you have super oily skin I would definitely go for the True Match Super Blendable version because the Lumi is going to make your face dewy which won’t look very good if you get oily quickly. Luckily for you oily people it’s only $9.99 for the Blendable version!

BAREMINERALS bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum SPF 20:

This is a very light-weight foundation and is perfect for the summer time. It could be medium coverage if you applied enough, but it is one of those foundations that can look patchy if you put too much on. I like the consistency because it is more on the watery side which is what makes it light coverage. However, the color does give my skin more of an orange look because of the olive in me. It is perfect for those with golden undertones in their skin and runs around $30.
